Ambassador Reintjes visits Lahore.
HE Joost Reintjes, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands inaugurated the new graphic design laboratory at Naqsh Art School.
Established in 2002, Naqsh School of Arts is a project
of Babar Ali Foundation, founded in 1985 by Syed Babar Ali. Naqsh’s
vision is to preserve traditional arts and to provide employment
opportunities to under-privileged students from Lahore and its
surroundings. With the contribution from the Netherlands Embassy,
Naqsh Art School constructed a graphic design Laboratory, where the
students now have the facility to learn these skills on top of the
traditional restoration skills they are learning
.
